Potterne Park provides the community with 12 acres of sport and a recreation ground for all to enjoy. Sporting provision includes Rugby, Football, Tennis, Netball and Cricket. The Pavilion was built in August 2000 and has a social room and changing facilities. The Verwood Community Association provides an umbrella support service enabling local clubs to develop and operate delivering a wide range of recreational and sports facilities to the local community.
